ABOUT US

Hi, we are the Oden family.

As a family of five, my wife and I juggle our full-time jobs, school schedules & sports activities which, as all big families can understand, keeps us very busy. We have always found meals to be at the center of our family unit, bringing us together regularly no matter what was on the calendar that day.

As our children started getting older, we found that getting them involved in cooking helped us connect with them and unwind our days, together. Whether slapping something together quickly on a weeknight or waking up early to put something in the smoker, food is what continues to keep us connected. 

Over time, we felt we perfected our favorite mixes of rubs and spice blends and started bottling these mixtures to have on hand when cooking. Our dream is to now share with others a piece of what has brought us so much JOY.

Odin: The "All-father"

My name, Oden, is a family name from my dad's Norwegian side. Odin, a widely revered god in Norse mythology, is associated with wisdom, healing, royalty, knowledge, and victory among other attributes. Growing up, I was referred to as Oden as a nickname and the name Oden was often crossed with Odin. Having a lifelong interest and tie to Norse mythology, we decided to bring Odin into our branding.
